We offer standardized or customized workshops that teach you how to become a successful live speaker. Topics that we cover in our courses include: “you” – become aware of the impression you make, use it effectively, “your audience” – understand their perspective, needs and responses to your presentation, and “you and your audience” – optimize your interaction with a live audience to get your message across.
Our Method
Yes and Science merges science communication with training techniques from improvisational theatre. Our workshops are ideal for scientists of any career stage wanting to improve their live presentation skills. Our workshops don’t teach you how to “be funny” – instead you’ll acquire skills that enable you to become an engaging speaker who gets messages across in an effective way.
About us
Yes and Science was founded by Karim Bschir and Jane Muncke in 2016. We teach scientists how to effectively communicate their work to scientific peers and lay audiences. We specialize in live presentations. Yes and Science is based in Zurich, Switzerland.
